On our way to the first appointment of the day, both wearing black – Eva because she finds it classy and I because I feel that it’s the easiest way out.
At Zadig et Voltaire, the collection was very close to the brand’s signature style of urban cool with a bit of rock’n’roll attitude.
Btw this season my bag comes in all shapes and colours.
It is the 3rd of October and that means: Nuit Blance at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. The building, designed by Frank Gehry, is extraordinary.
With Gilbert and George you can have two for the price of one 😉
Eva wakes up and says: “White. Today it has to be white.” I am half awake, and I find myself under her spell, so I follow. We have a crazy day ahead of us and I quit drinking coffee only a week ago – so I’ll probably never wake up fully.
First stop to see the Ancient Greek Sandals. We simply love this brand! The AGS have captured the essence of the effortless style and they always remind us of Greek summer. Their designer Christina Martini, who used to work for fashion houses such as Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton before creating her own label, is so easygoing and so inspiring at the same time.
While viewing the Peter Pilotto collection – impressed by the shapes their dresses create- Eva spotted Leandra Medine aka the Man Repeller, who was quite stylish wearing her “man repelling” outfit.
Dinner time! After walking around in St Germain, we decided to visit Le Cherche Midi. It’s Italian, it’s been there since 1978 and as it is truffle season, it was a great idea.
Sunny Paris in the fall with flowers for Dior and Eva’s pinky outfit.
The Mary Katrantzou ss16 collection is inspired by cosmology, the infinity and voyages into uncharted territories. We were really excited to see Mary herself at the Paris showroom, always working super hard and being on top of everything.
As our trip comes to an end we couldn’t resist the cliché photo of the Eiffel tower. Until next season…
